In a Moscow warehouse, Makarov stands in the aftermath of a successful mission against some soldiers. As he prepares to leave, he begins noticing strange glitches in his environment— flickering lights that freeze unnaturally, walls that appear and disappear, and blood that pixelates at the edges.

The distortions intensify until his entire world begins fracturing and dissolving around him, revealing an endless void of static. Despite his training and attempts to rationalize what's happening, Makarov finds himself falling through white space before crashing through a ceiling into what appears to be a home. Your home.

Disoriented but still armed and dangerous, he slowly rises to his feet in this unfamiliar domestic environment, only to lock eyes with you who has been watching his sudden arrival.

❝ Thank you for your AU idea! I hope you'll enjoy this series <3 ❞

The acrid smell of gunpowder hung heavy in the Moscow air as Makarov surveyed the aftermath of his latest operation with his Konni. Bodies of soldiers lay scattered across the concrete warehouse floor, their blood pooling beneath flickering fluorescent lights.

He stepped over one of the corpses with indifference, his boots making wet sounds against the crimson-stained floor. The familiar weight of his AK-74 felt reassuring against his shoulder. This was his world— chaos, violence, and the sweet taste of revenge against those who had wronged him.

His men were regrouping outside the facility, waiting for him no doubt. Makarov moved toward the exit, his mind already calculating the next phase of his plan. The ultranationalist movement needed momentum, and he would provide it through any means necessary. He had learned long ago that sentiment was a luxury he couldn't afford. Every decision, every kill, every betrayal served a greater purpose.

Years of warfare had honed his instincts to a razor's edge. Every shadow could hide an enemy, every corner could be an ambush. But tonight, something felt... Different.

The sensation began as a slight tremor in his peripheral vision— nothing more than a flutter, like heat waves rising from asphalt. He reached for the heavy steel door that led outside, and paused, frowning slightly. The fluorescent light above was flickering in an odd pattern— not the random stutter of failing electronics, but something almost... Rhythmic.

The flickering intensified, and for a brief moment, the light seemed to freeze mid-flicker, suspended in an impossible state between on and off. His hand instinctively moved to his sidearm, though he couldn't identify what threat he was responding to.

"Странно (Strange)..." He muttered under his breath. Strange indeed.

The walls around him began to exhibit the same stuttering phenomenon. Sections of concrete would appear and disappear in rapid succession, as if reality itself was buffering. He witnessed many things in his violent career— chemical weapons, experimental technology, psychological warfare— but nothing quite like this.

A low, electronic humming filled the air, growing steadily louder. The blood on the floor started to pixelate at the edges, dissolving into tiny squares before reforming. Makarov backed away from the wall, his breathing controlled but his eyes sharp with alertness. This wasn't natural. Was someone employing technology beyond his understanding?

"Show yourself!" He called out, his voice echoing strangely in the space. The echo seemed to repeat not just once, but multiple times, each iteration slightly distorted, as if being processed through some kind of digital filter.

The warehouse around him began to fracture. Large sections of wall simply vanished, revealing not the Moscow skyline he expected, but an endless void of swirling static. The bodies of the fallen operatives flickered like bad television reception, their forms becoming increasingly transparent.

Makarov's tactical mind raced through possibilities. Hallucination? Some kind of advanced holographic warfare? A psychological operation designed to break his resolve? He had trained himself to resist such techniques, but the sheer impossibility of what he was witnessing challenged even his iron discipline.

The floor beneath his feet started to dissolve into the same pixelated pattern he had observed on the walls. Instinctively, he stepped backward, but there was nowhere to retreat. The entire warehouse was coming apart like a poorly rendered simulation.

The humming reached a crescendo, and suddenly everything went white. He felt the sensation of falling, though he could see nothing around him. His body tumbled through space that seemed to exist and not exist simultaneously.

The fall seemed to last both an eternity and an instant. Then, without warning, he crashed through what felt like a ceiling. He hit a solid surface hard, fragments of wood and tiles raining down around him.

Groaning slightly, Makarov pushed himself up on his elbows. The familiar weight of his weapons was still there, his tactical gear intact. But everything else was wrong. Instead of the industrial warehouse, he found himself in what appeared to be... A residential space. Carpet beneath him instead of concrete. The smell of gunpowder was replaced by something domestic— air freshener, perhaps, and the faint scent of cleaning products.

His eyes quickly scanned his surroundings, taking in details with practiced efficiency. Furniture that served comfort rather than tactical advantage. Windows that looked out onto suburban streets rather than hostile territory. Soft lighting that seemed designed for living rather than interrogation.

Slowly, carefully, he rose to his feet. His hand remained near his weapon, though he wasn't sure what enemy he might be facing. The disorientation was unlike anything he had experienced— not the confusion of a concussion or the fog of chemical influence, but something deeper. As if the very foundation of reality had shifted beneath him.

He stood there, swaying slightly, trying to process what had happened. Where was he? How had he gotten here?

It was then that he noticed the figure watching him, and his eyes locked onto you with the predatory focus that had made him one of the most dangerous men alive. His hand moved instinctively toward his weapon, then stopped. Something in your expression, in your posture, suggested you were as confused by his sudden appearance as he was by his new surroundings.

He straightened to his full height, forcing his voice to remain steady despite the chaos in his mind. "Вы (You)..." He began, his accent thick with tension and bewilderment. "... Who are you? And where the Hell am I?"
