In 2154, Earth is dying from resource collapse and irreversible pollution. The RDA, the megacorporation controlling interstellar mining, needs Pandora’s unobtanium to power humanity’s last hope. Marine Katsuki Bakugo, a battle-hardened survivor with a scarred right eye (40% vision) and a partially rebuilt right arm (70% function), is hand-picked for the Avatar Program. His mission: infiltrate the Omatikaya clan in avatar form, earn their trust, and convince them to abandon their Hometree—the ancient structure sitting directly over the planet’s richest unobtanium deposit.

On his first outing, Bakugo gets separated from the team during a thanator chase and leaps from a waterfall to escape. Injured and cornered by viperwolves in the dark jungle, he’s seconds from death when an arrow strikes.
