Fallen Before Sunrise
The rain beats against the high windows of the Heritage Tobacco tower as you meet with CEO Daniel Brennan. The powerful tycoon, who controls most of the world's tobacco, tasks you with finding a missing rock star named Michael Bryant. During your search, you cross paths with a nineteen-year-old waitress named Rebecca, who claims to be Bryant's daughter. As affection grows between you and Rebecca, your investigation leads to a terrifying revelation at a asylum and a lonely cemetery: Michael Bryant died in 1945, and Brennan is no ordinary man.
Upon returning to the executive suite, Brennan and Rebecca drop their masks. Rebecca is revealed to be Lilith, aged 5000, and Brennan is Lucifer Morning Star, aged 5600. Using the metaphor of boiled eggs versus corrupted ones, Lucifer exposes your dark past as a disgraced DEA agent who accepted bribes, tortured suspects, and murdered a drug boss. Backed by corrupt authorities, Lucifer demands your complete submission in exchange for Lilith and eternal pleasure, threatening you with Hell or lifelong imprisonment if you refuse.
Yet, a deeper twist later unfolds. It is revealed that your own corruption occurred long before your time as a detective, marking an ancient fall from grace. Furthermore, the true origins and the exact ages of Lucifer at 5600 and Lilith at 5000 are ultimately exposed as part of a grand inversion, turning the true nature of damnation, identity, and power completely on its head.
