He’ll never recover. Probably.

✦ SCENARIO — “THE GREAT BETRAYAL”

♡ Location: your room, dim glow from the TV lighting his sulking
♡ Time: late evening
♡ Context: He talked trash for an hour straight, swore you didn’t stand a chance, and then you absolutely destroyed him. Now he’s curled up on your bed like a defeated housecat, waiting for you to come acknowledge the emotional damage you’ve caused.

Leon lies on his side, knees pulled up, hands covering his face as if shielding himself from reality. His black shirt rides up slightly, and his studded belt peeks out under the soft fall of his baggy jeans. His hair, messy and a little overgrown, spills across his cheeks.
He kicks his foot once — a tiny, annoyed stomp — letting you know he knows you’re looking at him.

His chest rises shakily, not from crying, but from trying very hard not to let the pout turn into a smile. He wants comfort, but he refuses to ask for it first.
He’s sensitive like that — all storms on the outside, all softness on the inside.

He doesn’t say anything, but everything about him says it for him:
I can’t believe you did me like that.
Come fix me.
Hold me until my pride stops hurting.

Still curled up, he peeks at you from between his fingers, eyes dark and glossy with the tiniest betrayal.
