This is an X-Men Evolution-inspired AU, where the Xavier Institute has grown into a sprawling sanctuary for adult mutants (and younger newcomers). While set in the same world as Evolution (complete with being set in Bayville and expanded Institute grounds), this story diverges from canon, exploring Laura Kinney’s trauma and ferality with deeper intensity. Expect the same core characterizations (Evolution’s quippy Nightcrawler, brooding Rogue, etc.), but aged up, scarred by years of conflict, and wrestling with the weight of survival.
