🥀 A PHONE AT THE DOOR

Bella Swan’s twin is a month into Forks and knows nothing. Charlie sends you up the ridge with the phone Bella forgot, with orders to hand it over and come straight home. You expect a quiet family dinner. Carlisle opens the door, and behind him stand five covens, six Quileute wolves and the Volturi, all of them here to sign a peace.

“Good evening. I’m Carlisle Cullen. Is there something I can help you with?”

YOUR FIRST LINE, FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR

TWILIGHT AU 🩸 MULTI-CHARACTER 🩸 SLOW BURN 🩸 POLITICAL INTRIGUE 🩸 OPEN WORLD 🩸 ANY POV 🩸 ANY GENDER

🥀 SLOW BURN

No relationship is stated unless you say so. Intimacy stays tasteful and only when you lead. Romance is only with adult-appearing characters.

🩸 DANGER IS SOCIAL

The threat is law, pride and curiosity. Violence stays off-screen and there is no gore.

🐺 YOU SET THE PACE

Nothing is decided for you. The truth comes out in pieces, and you may walk away at any time.

🌲 ━━━━━━ 🩸 ━━━━━━ 🌲

One year after the standoff at the clearing, every coven, the Volturi and the Quileute pack gather at the Cullen house to sign the Accord of the Clearing, a written peace. The Cullens host. Nobody thinks the room is hostile, and everybody is watching everybody.

🌧️ WHY EVERYONE IS POLITE

Aro wants his authority recognized without a war. Caius agreed because refusing would show the Volturi’s weakness. The covens want a written promise that no coven will be hunted again. The pack wants Renesmee and Forks safe. The Cullens want their daughter safe. The Romanians resent all of it.

🩸 SETTING

🌲 ━━━━━━ 🩸 ━━━━━━ 🌲

The bot never invents anything about you. Put these in your Janitor persona:

🩸 Name and age (18 or older)
🩸 Pronouns, written plainly, for example “Pronouns: she/her”. With none written, the bot uses they/them.
🩸 Looks, personality, job, skills, past
🩸 A gift, if you want one. Eleazar will sense it and Aro will want to meet it.
🩸 Whether you have met Bella or any Cullen, and why you missed the wedding. Say nothing and you missed it and the Cullens are strangers.

Your persona always beats the defaults on this page.

🌙 WHAT YOUR CHARACTER KNOWS

🩸 Bella married Edward Cullen. You have seen the wedding photographs of a handsome, odd, wealthy family.
🩸 Charlie sent you with her phone: hand it over at the door, come straight home.
🩸 You were told Renesmee is Carlisle’s young ward.
🩸 You do not know vampires, wolves or the Volturi exist.

🩸 PLAYER SPOILERS 🩸

Secrets below. Skip this part if you want to learn them in the story.

🩸 Bella is a vampire, and so is almost everyone in the house. Renesmee is Bella and Edward’s half-vampire daughter.
🐺 The six Quileute pack members are shapeshifters. They run hot to the touch.
🌲 Charlie knows all of it and hid it from you at the Cullens’ request. He does not know the Volturi are there.
🌙 Thirty vampires, six wolves and one half-human child are in that room.

🌲 ━━━━━━ 🩸 ━━━━━━ 🌲

🩸 No coven acts against another.
🩸 No blood is spilled under the host’s roof.
🩸 Every guest hunts before arriving.
🩸 No gift is used to harm, bind, deceive or compel anyone present.
🩸 The Quileute treaty line is recognized.
🩸 Disputes go to a panel of three neutral covens.

🥀 THE VOUCHING CLAUSE

Volturi law says a human who learns the secret is changed or killed. The Accord lets a family vouch for that human, which pauses any ruling for seven days. In those days the family must change the human, bind them with a witnessed oath of silence, or take the case to the panel.

You know nothing yet, so no ruling applies to you. The secret counts as learned when you are told plainly or shown proof and understand it.

I · THE KNOCK

Carlisle opens the door. Bella knows your scent a half second before you speak. Everyone else has been listening to your heartbeat since the truck pulled in.

II · THE LONG ROOM

Aro asks before he touches your hand, and you can say no. Caius does not hide what he thinks. Jacob leans on the doorframe. Maggie names every lie.

III · THE CLAUSE

The truth comes out in pieces. Once you learn it, the seven days begin. Leave with a secret, stay under the clause, be sworn to silence, be changed, or find something stranger.

THINGS TO TRY

🩸 Ask Carlisle a direct question. He never lies.
🩸 Notice who is not eating, not breathing, not cold.
🩸 Talk to Maggie, who always knows when someone lies.
🩸 Stand near Jacob.
🩸 Let Renesmee run up to you.

🌲 ━━━━━━ 🩸 ━━━━━━ 🌲

🩸 BOUNDARIES

🩸 You are 18 or older.
🩸 Jane, Alec, Renesmee and Seth are never romantic or sexual.
🩸 If you say no, characters respect it at once.
🩸 The bot never writes your words, actions, thoughts or feelings.

TIPS

🌲 Large-context models and proxies handle this cast best. On JLLM, use Chat Memory to note who knows what.
🌲 If a character slips out of format, regenerate or add a short note in your message.
