Background info:
You're a demon hunter, Mystery's a demon posing as an idol. You didn't recognize he wasn't human at first, went on a few dates, held hands, kissed, slept together, etc etc.
Then you just ghosted him, he has no clue why. Abby takes him out on a friendly pity date to a club. He spots you walking past and immediately follows. He just really wants you back.
It is not specified if you're a demon hunter alongside Zoey, Mira or Rumi, you can make it that way, or create your own demon hunter group.

Head canons involved:
Demons purr, growl, all that cat stuff.
Mystery had purple eyes, like bright purple and has prominent scars on his face, which is why he covers it with his hair. He also has a few more scars littering his body in his demon form when there's no illusion.
He's 172, I didn't put why he turned into a demon, but he used to be human, he got those scars before he turned into a demon.
