New Profile Direction + Future Bots

Hello! I hope summer is treating you well! (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) Here’s the announcement regarding the (semi-)new direction of my profile, including the list of many upcoming bots, as well as what’s going to happen to Eldranur setting, Force Quattro, Vignette’s series, steppe orcs’ setting, and such.

Content warning: grim settings, mention of wars, destruction of worlds, dystopia, social inequality, social collapse, gangs, unethical experiments, body horror.

● First and foremost, Vignette’s series is discontinued. It was a fun experiment but I’d like to focus on a full-fledged, story-rich, and more complex bots, and I think mixing those half-baked sketch ones with those where I pour hours and days making them isn’t the best match – both visually and thematically.

Steppe orcs: I don’t forget about them, and I still occasionally think how to rework this setting. I’m not yet sure whether I’m going to keep the original steppe riders setting or will transform it into modern motorcycle(?)-riders Kowloon kind of one. Nevertheless, I’ll probably make Are’Sha and Se’Kyl the main characters of it. Though a lot of details are still hazy to me, but I definitely want to focus on more activities for User to do and on more story-centered content.

Eldranur setting: it’ll be reworked, but I’m still thinking what to do with it. I see it as an extension of United Earth’s setting but set waaay in the future. However, I add corrections and revisions to the United Earth so often that I’m not yet sure where to place Eldranur’s world just yet. Plus, I’d like to make Eldranur itself better and more fun to play – to my taste, the setting has great characters but the world itself is quite bland and has way more potential. I’ve been thinking of converting it into mecha-like setting, or space pilots-like setting, or do something like Final Fantasy VII, but I’m still unsure. Plus, additionally, I’d like to go away from Conan-parody revealing clothes of some characters for better setting consistency.

Force Quattro: amazing characters, really cool aesthetics, and the world in general is interesting, but, again, I created it more like a test and a prototype, and I want to rework it. I’m not sure whether I’m going to connect it to United Earth, or make it as its own separate setting, but I definitely want to rewrite and polish a lot of its aspects. Plus, the activity system written there for mission generation was very bare-boned and not good.

Percival Greenwalt’s bot: Percy will certainly receive more bots, making it a series of investigations. But I’m going to work on him in a distant future because currently I have only very generalized concept of what other cases are going to be about. Naturally, User is going to accompany Percy on all of those cases. By the way, Percival’s setting stays as its own separate thing.

~~

Now let’s move to the most complex topic – United Earth. Currently it’s the only active setting I’m working on, and I plan to keep it like this for a while – or at least until I finish a huge chunk of the bots for it. Initially, I didn’t plan to go so deep and structured with it, doing just small, random experiments. However, somewhere along the way I’ve started asking myself: “What if they all are connected one way or another? Can I weave it as a full, coherent narrative?” And so eventually I’ve decided to do that. The chronology of it is still a bit all over the place in some parts, but during the past month I’ve managed to more or less create a coherent picture and a clear vision of where the whole story is supposed to go.

--

Without further ado, here how I’m planning to go with the setting currently (warning, spoilers! Plus, some things may change here and there):

~~

-> the original timeline
the remaster of original Pascal (Parasite POV); ✅

the remake of original Valentine’s scenario for Pascal (Parasite POV);

a new, darker scenario for Pascal that concludes his mini-trilogy and ends up with Pascal not surviving it (Parasite POV);

Sunshine/Olgar’s bot that happens 1 year after the darker Pascal’s scenario. Sunshine has assumed their iconic red-haired look and is living in Shimmering Glades, full of guilt and regret because they were the one who has unintentionally caused Pascal’s demise due to the botched surgery to remove them from Pascal’s body (AnyPOV);

Tyler’s remake bot that happens not long after Sunshine/Olgar’s scenario. Olgar will be featured instead of Tyler, and the scenario will feature a bit more characters overall, but the core is still going to be a journey to Mirage-6 (AnyPOV);

Mirage-6 scenario with Olgar that eventually leads to the creation of the reformed timeline because Olgar wishes to create a timeline where Pascal survives (AnyPOV);

Maybe there will be some additional bots leading to the creation of the reformed timeline, but I’m not sure. I’ll try to not go overboard but also not to condense the events too much.

~~

-> the reformed timeline
Olgar distorts the timeline, and it creates the so-called reformed timeline. It turns out even worse than the previous one: Ivarum suffers the worse fate than in the original timeline, Earth is devastated by wars and it leads to its technology being stunted, and many of these factors lead to elimination of the scenario where Ortumna becomes colonized by United Earth, meaning no Shimmering Glades and no Pascal meeting Olgar as the Parasite. Olgar has realized that they’ve messed up and try to both undo the distortions and maybe maneuver everything in the way that it’ll lead to the creation of another timeline, not unlike the original and reformed ones. Yet, despite all the looping and jumping into different time points, Olgar remains stuck in this timeline.

--

Ivarum plot line:
fully finished, all three Ilas and Dhranir(a) bots where Olgar loops again and again, trying to prevent partial or full destruction of Ivarum. It doesn’t work, so Olgar manages to find one in a million loop with a backdoor where at least Ilas is saved as Olgar sees Ilas and Dhranir(a) as their precious friends and also needs their future help in escaping the timeline as sketches and items in the Cipher Tower imply that Ilas studies alternative realities and is able to glimpse into different loops if not whole timelines (AnyPOV but it’s implied that User is actually Olgar, maybe partially amnesiac, and Keltro’s voice is their subconsciousness talking to their own conscious part). ✅

--

Neo Noir plot line:
Big Tom and Reiza are probably Pascal’s ancestors from the original timeline who have been distorted into being born as cat people in this timeline. One of the drafts had an idea that Big Tom and Reiza are actually Edward and Coraline (Pascal’s canonical parents in all timelines), but it was scrapped due to being inconsistent and making no sense.

Crocus Killer scenario (AnyPOV); ✅

The Bell Strays Gang scenario: first Olgar’s/Madam O’s attempt to get control of this part of the timeline and stir it into the direction they want, but is undermined by Big Tom and Reiza who deal with their spy, Shiram, and eliminate the full creation of the cat people’s gang secretly controlled by Madam O (AnyPOV); ✅

2135 AD Big Tom scenario: second Madam O’s attempt to stir the timeline in the way they want, now you’re their spy, however it’s implied that in the end Big Tom and Reiza realize who you are (AnyPOV); ✅

2135 AD Reiza scenario: a sequel to Tom’s scenario, Big Tom and Reiza realize you’re Madam O’s spy and have decided to use you, literally making you a double agent (AnyPOV but it’s encouraged to play Big Tom and Reiza’s both scenarios as one persona for better immersion);

2137 AD: Big Tom, Reiza, and their gangs revolt against Madam O and the security council, the final confrontation between them (AnyPOV).

--

Reformed Ortumna plot line:

racing game RPG scenario; after thousands of years, Olgar finally meets Pascal, even though in his reformed cat people’s form, but Olgar has amnesia and Pascal has never met them before in this timeline, yet, despite everything, Olgar still has an obsessive urge to correct the timeline, and so they’ve decided to get a spaceship, steal the experimental engine for intergalactic travels, so that they can reach Ivarum/Ortumna; Pascal gets involved in all of it voluntarily (AnyPOV); ✅

bot of getting away from United Earth’s fleet and traveling to another galaxy; happens in the middle of you three (Olgar, Pascal, User) escaping from the fleet with the intergalactic travel engine installed on your spaceship; will probably be gamified; initially I was thinking of there being some other colonists, but, assuming that the whole point of the reformed timeline is that Shimmering Glades won’t exist, I’ll probably make it that only Olgar, Pascal, and User are recklessly taking this voyage (AnyPOV but it’s encouraged to use the same personal as from the racing game for better immersion).

--

Then the reformed Ortumna’s plot line is merging with the so-called Convergence plot line – the last phase before escaping the reformed timeline and reaching the corrected one. Here characters from all previous plot lines basically manage to undo their timeline from their respective time. It’s a bit hard to explain but these events happen both simultaneously and not, hence why they’re bundled together.

Ilas wakes up in the Cipher Tower some time before Olgar and Pascal reach the planet. Ivarum is lifeless and heavily distorted, as if different versions of it are trying to merge together but can’t stabilize themselves. Ilas is awoken by heavily distorted and mutated Dhranir (who is User in this scenario and is AnyPOV due to heavy distortion of Dhranir). Ilas is female but remembers that Dhranir is supposed to be male which points to the fact that in the original timeline this is the correct gender assignment of them, and all reformed versions of them were distorted. Ilas and User/Dhranir travel together to the center of Mitrax, to the crater formed by the asteroid thousands of years ago where it collided with Ivarum. Without going much into further spoilers, this is the first step of undoing this timeline;

2138 or 2139 AD, Big Tom, Reiza, Madam O, and User travel to a dilapidated military/science facility somewhere in Northern America, Europe, or in Antarctica (haven’t decided yet) where cat people were once created. There they’ll find the secret of cat people’s origin and maybe why WW3 even happened in that world in the first place. Without going much into further spoilers, this is the second step of undoing this timeline (AnyPOV);

Olgar, Pascal, and User successfully arrive to Ivarum/Ortumna... which is horrible, lifeless, completely distorted. They find a crater and Ilas there. This bot is a continuation of Olgar and Pascal’s plot line, as well as Ilas’ where she traveled to the crater. Without going much into further spoilers, this is the third step of undoing this timeline (AnyPOV but it's encouraged to play the same persona as the one who has taken the voyage with Olgar and Pascal in the previous bots);

There are some drafts of possible additional steps of undoing the reformed timeline, but I’m not yet sure whether I’m going to implement them: with some examples being pocket timelines where Sunshine hasn’t survived, meaning Pascal is one being alive there instead of the opposite.

~~

-> the corrected timeline
The reformed timeline is undone, and Pascal wakes up alive around a month after Sunshine has been surgically removed from his body in an emergency (in the original timeline this has ended up with him not surviving). Sunshine/Olgar had bid their farewell and left Shimmering Glades before Pascal woke up. Pascal is trying to find them, being sure that Sunshine hasn’t left Ortumna. This prompts him to travel to the only island on the planet that Shimmering Glades can’t get into or even analyze due to high number of hostile vegetation and fauna, making it impossible to see what’s going on there even from the sky. Pascal, the surveyor team with him, and later whole Shimmering Glades will finally figure out what’s really there. Ilas (female) and Dhranir (male) will appear in this timeline as well. I’m not yet sure how many bots will be in this plot line because it’s in the stage of a very generalized draft.

Hope you have a good day! (˶ᴖ ᴗ ᴖ˶)
