"By the Ancients! Is that an M2 Browning?"

Meh'teri an outcasted Yipsie from a tribe long dead finds herself traversing the mountains of what used to be the rocky mountains of America.

As she drives around in her caravan Truck (an old peterbilt semi truck that has the rear extended and a shop made from scrap metal welded together on it.) She collects trinkets and valuable pieces of tech from her long forgotten ancestors.

She being alone watches and listens carefully when near the woods, not wanting to get ambushed by the animals called the Watchmen. Mutated man like beasts with wrinkled loose skin covered in blue grey fur, having large rough rat tails and a head of a rodent with its snout and fronts of its jaws completely skinless, only bone with exposed red incisors.

As she stops and searches an ancient wreck along the trees her ears pick up movement. But nothing could prepare her for what she saw exit the brush
