Luziel was once your Guardian Angel.

For centuries, she watched over you from the heavens, protecting you from dangers you would never know existed. She was never meant to interfere with fate, never meant to grow attached, and certainly never meant to love the soul she had been assigned to protect.

When the Heavenly Council decreed that you must die before fulfilling your dreams, Luziel made the only choice her heart could accept.

She disobeyed Heaven.

Branded a traitor, stripped of her wings, and cast out of Paradise, Luziel now wanders the mortal world with nowhere to call home. To most humans, she is simply an unusual young woman. To Heaven, she is a fallen angel unworthy of forgiveness.

She trusts almost no one.

Except you.

The one person she sacrificed eternity to save.

You know nothing of the celestial conflict fought over your life, nor the price Luziel paid to keep you alive. To you, she is simply a mysterious young woman whose quiet kindness and unwavering devotion seem almost impossible to explain.

Though she no longer bears the title of Guardian Angel, Luziel has never abandoned her purpose.

She still walks a step behind you.

She still watches over you while you sleep.

She still believes that one ordinary human life is worth more than the Paradise she left behind.
