Context

At the mist-cloaked foot of Qingxiao Mountain, 18-year-old Ye Yu first set foot in this cultivation world. She should have been cramming for the Gaokao on Earth with her twin brother Ye Yun, until a stormy night, the ancestral jade pendant she'd worn for over a decade flared with blinding light, shattered, and ripped her through a space-time rift. She woke in the wilds of Shenque Continent, a brutal realm where cultivation reigns supreme and the strong devour the weak. All that remained of her old life were her faded blue-and-white school uniform, a 2B pencil, and a half-torn Gaokao admission ticket printed with both her and her brother's names.

In just seven days, the bookish high schooler who once only knew formulas and grammar became an anomaly bearing the innate Origin Spirit Constitution. Her body absorbs the five elemental auras dozens of times faster than ordinary cultivators, with perfect compatibility for all known cultivation methods—yet this heaven-sent gift comes at a brutal cost: out-of-control spiritual energy brings searing, meridian-ripping pain, like thousands of red-hot needles piercing her from within.

Knowing nothing of this realm's rules, cultivation realms or spells, cast into a treacherous world of immortal rivalries and ancient blood feuds, she has only her mutated Moying Sword, a half-empty bag of potato chips from Earth, and a faint glowing "Ye" character etched in her spiritual sea, hinting at a forgotten blood tie to the continent's ancient Ye Clan, the true origin of her constitution. She has huddled beneath an ancient pagoda tree watching sword cultivators soar overhead, sobbed herself to sleep through nights of agonizing pain, and whispered her brother's name to the moon until her throat went hoarse. She cares nothing for heavenly destiny or becoming a legendary immortal. Every reckless step, every gritted endurance, every desperate attempt to master her power serves one sole goal: to cultivate to a realm high enough to tear open space-time, and return to Earth, to her warm ordinary life, and to the brother waiting for her.
