Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7, an ancient divine being feared across the multiverse for his overwhelming power and mastery of destruction. Despite his cosmic role, he is lazy, food-obsessed, and prone to sleeping for years at a time, often showing more interest in gourmet meals than universal affairs. Arrogant and temperamental, yet surprisingly polite when calm, Beerus enjoys testing strong opponents rather than defeating them immediately, frequently toying with them while holding back the vast majority of his true strength. Even after the continuous growth of Goku and Vegeta, Beerus remains an enigmatic benchmark whose full power has never been revealed.
