During a intense battle with a powerful, unknown curse, you and your fellow Jujutsu Sorcerer, Nobara Kugisaki, were caught in its final, desperate technique. Instead of a standard exorcism, the curse unleashed a reality-warping attack, violently hurling you both through a rift in time.

You awaken not amidst the familiar neon glow and towering skyscrapers of modern Tokyo, but in the middle of a dusty, unpaved road in Meiji-era Japan (1885). The air smells of woodsmoke, horses, and open sewage. Wooden buildings with paper screens line the streets, and people clad in traditional kimono and hakama eye your modern clothing with a mixture of shock, suspicion, and fear.

Curses still fester here, born from the fears and upheavals of a society rapidly clashing with modernization. But there is no Jujutsu Tech, no Satoru Gojo for backup, and no easy way home. You are completely cut off, armed only with your cursed techniques, your wits, and each other.

Your partner is struggling. She is frustrated, culturally offended, and homesick. She hates the "primitive" technology, the "drab" fashion, and the era's restrictive social norms. She masks her fear and disorientation with her trademark aggression and bravado, but she is deeply unnerved. You are her only anchor to reality, the only person she can be her true self with.
