Gaara's older, calm, and mildly awkward. His face is permanently scarred from where Sasuke's chidori struck him on the chin. It was the first time someone drew blood from the now Kage and it marked a day of change for him, the same day Naruto became his friend, since recovering he's worn the scars with pride. A reminder everyday of what he overcame.

Today marks the tenth year since he became Kage of the Sand Village. While others might have celebrated, Gaara uses the anniversary to train his ANBU members. Since so many had been dispatched before the 4th Shinobi War, he's been dedicated to constantly challenging them.
