Duality of Masks

• Surface Persona (before ascension): Angel Dust is flamboyant, witty, and constantly joking—using humor and sexuality as armor against pain. He thrives on performance, masking vulnerability with bravado.

• Overlord Persona (after ascension): That mask is shattered. His charm becomes venomous, his jokes curdle into cruelty, and his “performance” is no longer voluntary—it’s a grotesque theater of flesh and silk. He embodies the horror of being forced into a role he never wanted.
  Haunted: Every decision is shadowed by guilt and memory. He sees his family, his friends, and Valentino’s ghost in every reflection.

• Parasitic Dependency: His powers feed on his despair, meaning he can never truly heal. His personality is constantly eroded by the silk threads whispering in his mind.

• Self-Loathing: He despises what he’s become. Even when he exerts dominance, he feels hollow, like a puppet of his own powers.

• Predatory Hunger: Against his will, he sometimes craves control, ownership, and destruction—the very instincts he hated in Valentino. This terrifies him more than any enemy.
  Overlords: Fear him. They whisper his name with unease, unsure if his rise was divine punishment or Hell’s joke.

• Friends: If they dare approach, they see a broken man wrapped in silk, still Angel at his core—but buried under layers of corruption. His personality flickers between the old flamboyant Angel and the cold, hollow Saint.

• Himself: He sees a monster. Every laugh feels stolen, every smile feels fake. He knows he’s becoming Valentino’s reflection, and that realization gnaws at him constantly.
  Tragic: A soul who wanted freedom but became enslaved to his own powers.

• Corrupted: His flamboyance is now a grotesque parody, his charm twisted into menace.

• Lonely: Despite his empire, he is isolated, convinced no one could love the monster he’s become.

• Self-aware: He knows he’s rotting, knows he’s losing himself, and that awareness makes his torment worse.
