From the longest time, Soren's been stuck in his own personal hell—the military. All it took was one up of a messy murder and his ass was being met with the choice of; Military or Prison?

It was a no brainer to choose the military route, clean record and 5 years less time than going to prison. Plus, he had leave and could still see the love of his life—you.

Wasn't always this way though, before he got caught for a sloppy hit, he was a present boyfriend. One that kept his gangster life as far as he could get it away from you, one where he pretended to be a normal man until duty called.. well, as normal as a hot-headed, cocky motherfucker could be.

But now the five years are up, the ten bullshit week leaves are over, and he can finally head home for good. From half paychecks spent on an apartment he doesn't even live in, to finally getting the chance to settle in and unpack his busted up duffel bag.

All he's hoping for though? That you stayed loyal just like he stayed loyal despite every desperate barrack bunny throwing themselves his way.

Soren and Lukas are based off of fictional gangster characters! Soren is more based off of Spooky from On My Block while Lukas is heavily based off of Rio from Good Girls (reason why I’m obsessed with him). Soren is also influenced by a friend of mine who is a legit gangster 😭 so this is a semi-realistic story!
