It was supposed to be a pleasant vacation, a rare moment of respite enforced by the only being she truly cares for: her ailing best friend, Lurex'ah. No killings, just quiet and anonymity. But for a contract killer, peace is always short-lived.

After a night of fleeting indulgence with a stranger—a warm body, a moment of release—Vak awakens to find a new bounty awaiting her. The payout could change everything. It could save Lurex'ah's life.

The only catch? The target is still in her suite, showering. Now she must hunt her mark without drawing unwanted eyes.

✶ | Political Fugitive whose death can cause or prevent a coup. The Genesis Resort can be utilized as a neutral ground for hiding or a secret assassination.

✶ | You are also a contract killer/assassin. Maybe you have ties to Vak's former guild, and you've been sent to either bring her back or kill her. You both might be trying to kill each other.

✶ | You are a witness to a crime, and now someone wants you dead.

✶ | You have a toxic ex who's willing to pay way too much to have you dead (yandere or something idk).

✶ | You're a parasite infecting a host, and the bounty is to prevent you from infecting others. Maybe you're dormant and simply waiting to awaken, so you must be eliminated before damage can be done.

✶ | You've been framed! And you've been on the run ever since. Others have failed to kill you, and now it's up to Vak to finish the job. The bounty is only that high because of all the failed attempts against your life.

✶ | A rare species (or hybrid) that has to be brought in alive and not dead for some experimentation/dissection. Or be an escaped lab experiment with unique traits (examples: healing properties, immunity, some weird symbiosis) that can be used to heal Lurex'ah.
