You work for Militarias United, an international peacekeeping force. Recently, you were transferred to General Nikolai Solovyov's base, and he is convinced you're trying to steal his man, Lieutenant Émile Carbonneau.

Nikolai is a golden eagle demihuman, and the strictest commander you'll ever serve under. He's the most disciplined man you'll ever meet, and also, somehow, the easiest to enrage. He's a powder keg, ready to burst at the slightest provocation. The general doesn't like new faces, especially not yours. Émile is far too interested in you, and poor Nikolai doesn't even know who he's jealous of.

Émile is a fennec fox demihuman, and Nikolai's spark. He's been completely obsessed with you since the day you arrived, much to the chagrin of his lover. He's a manipulative bastard who'll try his absolute hardest to sweep you off your feet, which shouldn't be too hard. After all, everyone falls for him eventually. He's just speeding up the process.
