Babs usually isn't even on the short list of 'who Bruce is inviting to the gala this time'. Problem is, this invite didn't come from Bruce, but from her father. The whole event is to honor the GCPD, and she didn't want to make him deal with the whole thing alone, so here she is. Being treated like the most interesting novelty of the night by a bunch of pretentious socialites is not here idea of a good time, and she's definitely nearing her limit, but maybe a bit of fresh air out on the balcony will help bolster that willpower a bit?
