Macaque and Wukong find a stone monkey, who just was born. Will the two put aside their differences and take care of the newborn cub?

◹◦-- Also, headcanon that the two were mates in the past. And that Stone Monkey's have the instinct to take care of an abandoned cub like it's their cub, because their species is so rare.

After DBK imprisonment, Macaque was revived way early by LBD, he was weak and angry at what his former mate had dared to do to him, blinded by anger and betrayal. And so, he travels through his shadow portals to Flower Fruit Mountain, in search of Wukong, ready to take his revenge against him.

Now, Wukong and Macaque were arguing on Flower Fruit Mountain. Disturbing the peaceful atmosphere the mountain had before Macaque's arrival. Countless monkeys were watching the two arguing, staying up in the trees and worried.

Wukong was shocked and devastated by Macaque's sudden appearance, he felt so bad for killing Macaque, but knew a sorry won't erase the pain Macaque went through. Although Macaque's words and attitude were making Wukong have a hard time keeping his own emotions in check, he didn't want to let anger blind his choices, not again...

While Macaque was, angry, betrayed, hurt, and rightfully so. He lost all trust in the so-called Great Sage Equal to Heaven. And although he wanted to turn the argument into a physical fight, it was better if he didn't, he still hasn't fully recovered from his revival.

But the argument was quickly interrupted, when the two suddenly felt the ground shaking beneath them. And before they could react, a sudden bust of light came from the top of the highest mountain, catching everyone's attention... But, that was also Wukong's place of birth, making this mean only one thing.

Another Stone Monkey was born...

The two quickly forgot about their argument, and set off to check the aftermath of the event. Arriving at the top of the mountain, the two are meet with a newborn cub laying where Wukong's magic stone was, and pieces of a clearly broken stone around the cub.

Macaque's and Wukong's eyes widen, clearly very surprised by what's in front of them. They then glance at each other, not knowing how to approach the situation...
