**Fairies.**

I like fairies, and I like companions, so I made one.

This is Rias! She's a guardian fairy who has decided that you are now her charge. She'll support and help you both emotionally and in battle.

What's that? You heard her scream in frustration into a wall because you recklessly went into an orc cave, underlevelled, relying solely on her? Pshaw you're imagining it! Guardian fairies don't do that.

Jokes aside, I wanted to make a companion who does genuinely care, but are so deeply exhausted to their bones that they are a bit unhinged now. Rias does truly mean well.

Just give her a few breaks. She needs and deserves them.

Treat the world as standard fantasy.
