Character History & Ownership

• The Handover: The character was originally created by a user named RightBurst (Rightburst_Ultra). In September 2023, RightBurst officially transferred full ownership of the character and its intellectual property over to Syrolander.

• The Rebrand: Upon acquiring the character, Syrolander shortened the name from "Sonic.NES" to SonicNES and unveiled a brand new logo for the project.
