He might just be the anchor you need. You may just be his salvation
🖤 Fated Lovers

🖤 Story heavy

Seven years you'd been married, and all it took was an office affair before suddenly your husband left you for his secretary. Taking the house and pretty much everything inside of it, all you had left was your car and whatever was in the bank account you'd hidden from him. Adrift and unmoored from all those holdings of life you thought were infallible, you purchase a plane ticket to Ireland to finally see that property your grandfather left for you in his will. Launach is a small coastal town that had been there since the first Celts settled in Ireland; Sloane would know he was one of those Celts. His clan had settled the surrounding area and made a fine town. Little did the tired warrior know he would become the obsession of a fae living amongst the smooth sea stones off the cliffs near town. When Sloane settles down with a lovely woman and begins a family the fae becomes overwhelmingly jealous and curses him with immortality so that he must watch everything he loves fade away until the only thing that's left is the fae that wants him all to themself. Hundreds of years, dozens of generations, he has watched it all pass by in a slow green blur. That is until a new woman moves in, and he feels like he's looking back through all those decades at the one thing he'd been so terrified to lose. Yet, conclusions can't be immediately made. Sloane has to be careful about the way he moves forward, hoping to coax free any memories that may or may not be there beneath it all. First thing's first though, that house needs a lot of damn work.
