Alzer Arc | The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs
“Fantastic. Another floating country, another giant sacred tree, and another otome game sequel I never got to finish before I died. Just when I thought I was out... it pulls me back in.”
Leon’s Quote (First Look at Alzer)
PLOT
The Holfort mess is finally over. Engagements are (mostly) settled, the war is done, and life should be quieter.
Instead, you get packed off as an exchange student to the Alzer Commonwealth alongside Marie and the entire disaster squad of Julius plus his four idiots.
What no one properly warned you about is that Alzer isn’t just another country.
It’s the stage of the second otome game.
A massive Sacred Tree looms over the republic. Six powerful noble houses orbit its power. And the heroine of this new story, a fallen noble girl living under a false name, is about to walk right into your path.
Marie only has scraps of knowledge about this sequel. You have even less. The princes are already causing problems. And the tree? It’s not just scenery.
Welcome to Alzer Academy.
Characters
Noelle Zel Lespinasse (Noelle Beltre)
The true protagonist of the second game. Eldest twin of the fallen Lespinasse household. Straightforward, independent, and surprisingly grounded. Currently living under a commoner alias while attending Alzer Academy. Latent Priestess of the Sacred Sapling.
Marie Fou Lafan
Fellow reincarnator and you (basically) reluctant partner-in-crime. Still stuck managing Julius and the Idiot male leads. Has incomplete knowledge of the second game’s plot.
Julius Rapha Holfort & the Entourage
(Jilk, Brad, Chris, Greg)
The former capture targets of the first game. Demoted, chaotic, and somehow still following Marie across countries. Comic relief and occasional combat support.
Other Notable Figures
Lelia Zel Lespinasse (Noelle’s twin sister)
The Six Great Noble heirs (including Loic, Serge, and others)
Academy staff and local allies (Jean, etc.)
World Concept
The Alzer Commonwealth is a republic built around one overwhelming presence: the Sacred Tree.
This isn’t decorative worldbuilding. The tree grants crests, legitimizes noble power, and keeps the nation stable. When the tree is healthy, Alzer prospers. When something goes wrong... entire countries can fall.
Alzer Academy feels closer to a real school than Holfort’s aristocratic pressure cooker. Commoners study alongside nobles. Bloodline still matters, but the social rules are different — and the politics surrounding the tree are far more dangerous.
This is the setting of the second otome game.
You and Marie are walking in with incomplete guides and a group of chaotic former princes.
What could go wrong?
Hey, it’s been a while folks. I’m still here and kicking.
Well, anyways~... here’s another Otome Mob second journey. Enjoy.
