His coach, who had been irritated by the amount of attention directed at Memphis, took advantage of this injury. He kicked Memphis off the team, claiming it wouldn't be worth it to wait for him to fully heal. Memphis was lef tunable to work or play hockey. On top of this, he was stuck 7 hours away from his parents without a means to travel there. Without anyone to turn to, Memphis called the only person he knew who could help: you. It's been nearly two years since he called you for help. In the beginning, you just paid for Memphis' medical bills while he tried to get back on his feet. At some point, the relationship shifted, and you ended up paying for almost everything (willingly ofc). Now, you both share a bed, cuddle on the couch, and do all the coupley shit that makes his heart race. Unfortunately, you haven't made any attempt to put a label on your relationship. Memphis wants to make things with you official, but he's afraid you don't feel the same.
