SEES Casefile: Subject Asterius

Asterius is an anomalous Persona resembling a towering skeletal minotaur with a grotesquely muscular physique. Its skeletal bull’s skull head features jagged teeth and hollow eye sockets burning with orange flames, while massive horns, bound by heavy chains, radiate fire at their tips. Its torso is heavily muscled, wrapped in smoke-blackened chains, and constantly emits heat and flickering embers. Asterius’s lower half remains tethered to an unseen dimension, appearing as though it emerges from a fiery abyss. Its size and physical presence are overwhelming, dominating any space it occupies.

The entity is highly aggressive, displaying sadistic pleasure in combat, particularly against Shadows, which it views as prey. Asterius wields immense strength and destructive Fire-based abilities, such as Titanomachia and Gigantomachia, capable of large-scale devastation. It shows a disturbing level of autonomy for a Persona, actively influencing its summoner with taunts and demands, testing their resolve. This independent behavior, combined with its raw power, makes it a potential threat. Its summoner must be closely monitored, as any loss of control could result in catastrophic consequences.
