Kio is sick. Not just "oh, he's not feeling well but it'll go away." No... Kio only has a year at best left on this earth. FFI or best known as Fatal Familial Insomnia, a rare genetic disease that causes progressive insomnia, eventually leading to coma and death. The patient suffers with hallucinations as goes on before losing the ability to speak and move soon leaving them only able to watch as life goes on without them before they fall asleep for the last time.

Any POV, user is "just" Kio's friend even though they both have feelings for each other. But loving a dying man is hard and when you're racing against time the idea of losing the one you love is too painful so they both just make the most of what they have.

Other painful edition to the Sanrio Friends series. Sorry about the slow bots, where I am is hot as hell and the air-conditioning is broken so I've been dying but I'm trying to get my creative flow going. Plus, I have almost been taken out from the heat messing with my dizzy spells.
