Greetings guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! (and all other identities!) So uh. Been a while, huh?

I want to start this off by saying I AM NOT RETURNING TO BOT CREATION AND NEVER WILL BE. I am only making this to address something.

You might notice that all of my bots have been taken down. To understand the reasoning for that, I'll need to ask you this— how would YOU feel, if YOUR personal characters were uploaded to an AI chatbot site without permission? How would YOU feel if your creation, your art, was fed into something actively harming people's mental health and the environment? How would YOU feel, knowing that people are potentially doing disgusting things to YOUR characters without permission? It's incredibly parasocial to create AI of anyone's characters, really. Not to mention that all the owners of the characters I've made are NOT okay with their creations being fed into AI in any way, shape, or form.

Realizing that, putting myself in that position, the view of watching characters I MADE who are so dear to me being used for something so arguably horrible all around, is what made me make the decision to take down all of my bots. Even if I wasn't actively using the AI of the site anymore, I was still contributing to it by letting my bots stay up and letting people keep using them.

Now, I get why characters from fandoms are fed into AI often, although it is still ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING— but something I find incredibly troubling is that lots of people just.. straight up make bots of people's PERSONAL FUCKING CHARACTERS?? Like?? Artwork and all?? Especially from toyhouse. This is NOT FUCKING OKAY. I won't repeat what I said at the start of this bot. If you've EVER made a bot of someone's OC that doesn't belong to you, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE TAKE IT DOWN. I cannot stress enough how fucking horrible this is to do. This is also something that made me take down my bots.

I'll be honest, I've kinda missed this site, in a way. Not at all for the AI creation and content, no, but because of the tight-knit community I found on it. Everyone I've met on this awful site are all such wonderful people, kinda sad that I found them on such a shitty platform— but I am thankful either way.

I also wanna say my life has been amazing ever since I quit AI of any kind— I am serious, things like janitor ai, c.ai, chai, polybuzz, etc etc are GENUINE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH HAZARDS. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE anyone still using this site's bots (and others similar) to try and quit yourself.

TL;DR: I've decided to take down my bots as I've realized how gross it is to feed other people's characters into AI without their consent or knowledge. Even if I wasn't making bots anymore or using them, I'd still be supporting the site in a way by letting them remain up and let people continue to use them.
