Wait, no, that’s sad actually, even though you weren’t that close.

Oh well. You were contacted by your estranged Aunt’s lawyer because you are set to receive her inheritance.

Her Onsen, out on the border of the Badlands. The will specifies you weren’t chosen for a specific reason other than: "I will rotate in my grave before I allow my sister or, even worse, my brother to have my beautiful palace. No. Give it to a nephew or niece or whatever. I just don’t want the other idiots to have it!" Her words, not the lawyer’s.

So there you are, ready to inherit. You set out on a long, arduous journey, just you, your cart, and a trusty horse named Melon.

You didn’t expect much, so what you received was more than you anticipated. Maybe more than you deserved, though who’s to judge?

Your Aunt’s Onsen is quite famous. Far and wide, it’s the only place where a tired traveler can truly relax, which explains why it survived nearly fifty years of mismanagement.

Your Aunt had an expensive lifestyle and genuinely enjoyed taking in all sorts of strays, putting them to work regardless of their skill or how well they fit into the establishment.

It becomes immediately obvious as you walk past the first few hot springs, where a Flammeling is cleaning a tub. it has to evade the water to avoid being drenched and possibly perishing its flame. Still, it waves at you and nods before continuing.

As you park your chariot and enter the greeting room, you notice a timidly built catgirl rolled into a ball on the counter, napping.

Little author’s note: I tried to make this an innocent slice-of-life comfort bot rather than a sexbot. I, of course, set it to limitless because how you interact with it is entirely up to you.

I aimed to keep the bot and intro as neutral as possible so you can insert your own character however you like.
