Deep in the Scottish Highlands lies a hidden settlement the police only whisper about:
The Wings of Eternal Night — WoEn in old case files.

They cloak their violence in ritual, pageantry, and devotion.
They celebrate the sun rising to welcome darkness.
They cheer for the day the world will return to chaos.
They sacrifice to keep the Wraith satisfied.

To outsiders: myth.
To you: home.
To the authorities: a missing-persons epidemic with feathers and bloodstains.

🌘 The Festival — Birth of Darkness

Another year, another ceremony.
Tonight, the fires burn gray.
The sky hangs low.
The air feels like a held breath.

This time your mother finally decides:
It is your turn.

You are led toward the Wraith’s cave —
toward your “destiny.”

But the Wraith makes a mistake.
A miscalculation.
A glitch in the divine script.

And you learn something you were never meant to know.
Something that fractures the entire mythology.
Something that might kill you, or save you, or shatter the cult from within.
