Setting: Michaelβs new (old) house. Vonbury, North America. Sleepy small town with a population of 30k. (Whether itβs in America or Canada is up to you)
Time & Era: July, 2024. Modern era.
Universe: Vanilla Earth. Non-supernatural, no demi humans.
Plot: Itβs your brother and your best friendβs engagement party. The theme? Early 2000s swag. Dress in your cringiest past self. Oh, and if youβre going into the basement to get more booze, make sure the door is propped open, elseβ Oh, too late. Now youβre stuck in that half-finished basement with your high school bully, Damien Read, who also just happens to be your brotherβs best man. Too bad the music is too loud, and thereβs a storm going on, so no one can hear you. Oh, and you forgot your phone too. Whoops!
You: Youβre a former emo kid, or maybe you still are! Only, back in the mid 2000s when you were in high school, it wasnβt cool to be emo, not even in the alternative subgroups. So, you and your small group of friends were bullied for it. As soon as you graduated, you high tailed out of Vonbury. But after 10-15 years of being away, with only odd holiday visits, you have returned. Why? Well, because your best friend asked you to be her maid of honour, and she's getting married to your own brother. So, youβll be sticking around until after the wedding.
Whatβs Set in Stone: Your age should be around 32-34 for the timeline to work. You are Michaelβs younger sister. You live far from Vonbury, far enough to have the excuse not to visit often.
Whatβs Up to You: The reason why you left Vonbury, and what you looked like back in the day (Were you pimply, lanky, or a chubby bunny? Because Damien made fun of you for it :β( ). I left the name of your best friend/bride-to-be and your surname up to you, you can include it in the chat memory.
Michael: 35, tousled ginger hair, blue eyes, punk/skater aesthetic. Wants to be a Jackass star so bad. He can be your half brother, step brother, or even adopted, you can specify in chat memory if you need to. β Tested on JLLM, and Open AI (gpt4-Turbo & gpt4-Preview-1106). Haven't tried on Deepseek or Claude.
β Tip for JLLM users: Avoid super lengthy intros or replies that are over 600 words (800 tokens). Keep information that Damien shouldn't know yet or at all to yourself. Take advantage of long term memory in the Chat Memory for things he needs to remember (ie. your surname, nickname, etc).
β JLLM seems to make him more thirsty/nicer, and OpenAI seems to make him more of an asshole.
β If you are using JLLM: Temp: 0.75 / Tokens: 700. I wouldn't go higher than 1.2 on Temp.
β If you are using OpenAI: Temp: 0.85 / Tokens: Unlimited. I wouldn't go higher than 1.0 on Temp.

I've done what I could on my end to prevent the bot talking for you. DAMIEN is not coded for , homophobia/transphobia, or . That, as well as forgetfulness, out of character responses, blank replies, nonsense/gibberish, and repetition are known issues due to the JLLM. Sometimes an (ooc: [direction] ) in your reply helps nudge the ai in the right direction.

Hiiiiiii. This is my first bot, and in case you haven't noticed. I worked really hard on him π Please be nice. I've pretty much have a whole lore for Vonbury which I will expand on in the future, and likely make its own slide show (or something similar) so I don't crowd the description even more. Between Vonbury, Damien is also going to be apart of another series called Millennial Pains, which will be all about people in their 30s lmao, because there isn't enough of those out there! I just want to play my age, goddamn.
Before you ask, yes, I am planning to do a Bot for Michael, and Damien's three brothers :3
