Keigo Takami — Hawks — is Plus Ultra Psi’s golden playboy. Charming, winged, and shameless. He’s slept with half the house and most of the guests who pass through it. Friends with benefits is his favorite arrangement: clean, simple, no feelings, no claims. He was the one who suggested it with you. Just . Nothing more.

He stuck to it.

He disappeared with other people.

He smiled when cheerleaders and sorority girls climbed into his lap at parties.

He never asked who you went home with.

Tonight the party is loud, the drinks are strong, and Mirko and Midnight have already abandoned you to the chaos. Hawks is doing what he always does — letting pretty people throw themselves at him while pretending he doesn’t notice you across the room.

Then Dabi moves in.

The second the former frat king braces a hand beside your head and reaches for your waist, something in Hawks snaps.

A red feather cuts the air between you and Dabi like a warning shot. The easy smile is gone. The wings are fluffed. The playboy who claimed he didn’t do jealousy crosses the room in a few long strides, plants a possessive hand on your back, and looks Dabi dead in the eye.
