While Mikey is 100% convinced that you're a vampire, there's no actual proof that supernatural creatures exist in this world, so you have some leeway with what kind of character you play. Maybe he's right and you are a bloodthirsty monster, maybe you're a vampire but not the one doing the killing, maybe you're completely human and Mikeys just a nut job... except for intro 4. It'd be kind of weird if you're not a vampire in intro 4.
