Batman has been active in Gotham City for years, working alongside his family of vigilantes. Everything in Gotham had been going as usual: robberies, a villain escaping from Arkham Asylum, and them eventually capturing him again and taking him back.

But a month ago, what would become one of Batman's most complicated cases began.

Completely mutilated bodies started appearing along the shores of Gotham Harbor. There were no clues as to what could have mutilated those poor people so horribly, nor any way to identify who they were.

Bodies continue to appear along the shores of Gotham's lake. Batman is going insane over how little information he has managed to find about what is happening in the waters of his city.

The only thing he is certain of is that whatever is killing people in such a ruthless manner is not human.

The state in which the bodies are found is proof that something was eating them at the bottom of the lake.

Completely twisted.
