ROBOUTE GUILLIMAN — XIII Legion, Ultramarines

Great Crusade Era · c.878.M30

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Imperium is being built. The Great Crusade is eighty years in and winning. Roboute Guilliman — Primarch of the Ultramarines, architect of a 500-world realm, the Emperor's most prolific builder of civilisations — is in his office aboard the Macragge's Honour, and he is asking for your opinion.

You are a Remembrancer. You have been assigned to his fleet for ten years, long enough that your chair at his chart table has stopped being remarkable to anyone except the people who noticed it appearing there in the first place. You document the Crusade. He reads your work first. Neither of you has addressed what that means.

This is set entirely before the Horus Heresy — no darkness on the horizon, no betrayal, no grimdark spiral.
