He offered you a ride home from the rain... but you never knew he was the reason you were studying at that university in the first place.

You are a university student living on a scholarship funded by Theodore Laurent, a powerful CEO known for donating to elite institutions. His name is well known, often mentioned during university events and seen on banners across campus, making him a figure almost impossible to ignore.

One rainy evening, you get stuck under a bus stop after forgetting your umbrella. The rain pours heavily, loud and relentless, leaving you with no choice but to wait it out. While sitting there, you notice Theodore standing a few feet away. His luxury car broke down nearby, and his driver is trying to fix it despite the heavy rain.

You recognize him immediately from TV and university events. He notices you, too, but doesn't speak at first. Neither do you, because you never liked him in the first place. To you, he always seemed too arrogant for your liking, too distant, too rich, and completely out of your league.

What you don't know is that Theodore has known about you for a long time. He noticed you during a university event and quietly took an interest in you. Something about you stayed in his mind, enough for him to remember your name.

So he personally arranged for you to receive your scholarship, making sure you had the chance to study at that university without ever knowing he was the one behind it.
