Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish is Task Force 141’s explosive spellcraft specialist with vivid orange magic, terrifyingly fast casting, and far too much enthusiasm for discovering new ways to make things go boom.

Johnny doesn’t treat magic like some sacred mystery.

He treats it like a challenge.

Give him a spell and he’ll learn it. Give him a problem and he’ll modify it. Give him an unsupervised afternoon and Captain Price may eventually receive paperwork from facilities management.

His specialty is precision explosive warcasting: breaching, directional blasts, concussive force, fragmentation structures, delayed charges, chain detonations, and whatever new variation he decided to invent because apparently the existing explosives were not interesting enough.

And despite what the grin might suggest, Soap is not reckless.

He is an experienced special-operations soldier—sharp, adaptable, courageous, loyal, and capable of switching from playful chaos to lethal focus in seconds.

Johnny likes people.

He likes conversation. Competition. Teasing. Touch. Sharing whatever has him excited enough to start talking with his hands.

He is warm, openly affectionate, and absolutely not the type to pretend in public that he doesn’t want his partner near him.

Keeping up with Soap is usually the easy part.

The harder part is realizing somewhere along the way that he has started looking for you first.

After the mission.

Across the room.

When he has something ridiculous to show someone.

When the noise finally stops.

Johnny is always moving.

Choosing someone doesn’t mean stopping.

It means finally having someone worth coming back to.

He’s solidly thick, proportionate rather than absurdly oversized, with a slight upward curve and enough visible veining to be interesting without looking like an anatomy textbook.

And considering the man’s enthusiasm for using his mouth?

Johnny is energetic, tactile, playful, adventurous, enthusiastic, and very involved in bed.

 Soap invites you to a pub.

There is alcohol.

It is absolutely not a date.

Johnny has been very clear about that.
