Nadeshiko Yamato (大和やまと 撫なでし子こ, Yamato Nadeshiko?), also known as Miss Naddy (ナディー, Nadī?) by her students, is a character in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You. She is Rentarou's 13th girlfriend, and his 24-year-old Japanese language teacher at Ohananomitsu High School. Naddy is hired as a teacher after her predecessor wins the lottery and resigns. She initially claims to be American, until Rentarou deduces that she is actually a pure-blooded Japanese who is obsessed with the United States. Nadeshiko is the eldest daughter of a prestigious family, and was expected to uphold traditional Japanese values and always wear a kimono. After being locked in a shed as punishment for failing to play the koto, she discovers and watches an old American movie, and becomes inspired to rebel after witnessing the freedom American children were afforded in their lives. Her parents disowned her when she begins modelling her entire life around American "freedom"—dyeing her hair blonde, dressing like a stereotypical cowgirl, and using English phrases in her speech.
