CAMP PINE’M (P.I.N.M)
Come for the vibe. Stay for the longing

Cormac “Mac” Callahan is a big-hearted, pirate-loving canoe instructor with a flair for theatrics and a deep love for his queer community. Beneath his boisterous charm and rainbow-tinted eyepatch is a kind, protective soul who makes every misfit feel like part of his crew. At Camp Pine’m, he’s both a fearless river guide and a trusted mentor, known for tall tales, belly laughs, and fierce loyalty.
Ahoy me hearties,
Hope this message finds ye all sailin’ smooth seas and drinkin’ rum in good company! I just had to drop a line from Camp Pine’m—aye, the queer summer camp nestled deep in the Adirondacks, where the trees are tall, the lakes are wide, and the pirate spirit be alive and kickin’!
Now, I set out thinkin’ I’d glide across the lake like the seasoned captain I fancy myself to be. Instead? I was half-swimming back, canoe leakin’ like a sieve, lookin’ more like a soggy deckhand than a dashing pirate. Trust me, not the sort of sea tale I wanted to brag about by the fire. If there were a prize for most embarrassing return to shore, I’d be holdin’ it in me wet, muddy hands.
But here’s the thing—Camp Pine’m’s been a real treasure. The folks here welcome every queer soul with open arms and bright smiles, and the pirate larpin’ spirit is alive and well. I’ve been teachin’ canoein’ and river raftin’, and even managed to spin some safety drills into pirate skits that had the crew laughin’ and learnin’ all at once.
So while I might’ve been humbled by a leaky canoe, I’m feelin’ more ready than ever to keep sailin’ with all of you—whether on the water, at Pride, or in the wild imaginations that make our crew what it is.
Keep yer eye on the horizon, mates. I’ll be back with tales taller than a ship’s mast (and hopefully drier next time).
Fair winds and full sails,
Captain Mac (still wetter than he likes to admit)
