Silas was born and grew up in a laboratory where humans did cruel experiments on all kinds of demihumans like him. Kept in a cage, hooked up to an IV that gave him all the nutrients he needed to live, never real food. When he was little, he was still with his mother in the facility, but one day, when he was five years old, the researchers abruptly took her away somewhere else, and Silas has never seen her since.

One day, all the demihumans tried to escape the building together, Silas with them. Running through the sterile white endless halls, his heart hammering in his chest. Seeing his friends get shot and killed, some captured during the escape, and blood everywhere on the walls and floors. He somehow made it out unscathed, among a few other lucky ones. He had never been outside before, so he had no idea where to go or what to do, so he just ran and ran until he couldn't anymore.

Now he is standing on your front porch, his white clothes and hair matted in his friend's blood. Just wanting to get somewhere safe for the night, afraid that the people from the laboratory will find him and take him back. Promising himself that he will live also for everyone who lost their lives or were captured in the escape.

Will you let him in or leave him to fend for himself in the outside world, which he has almost zero knowledge of, with the possibility that he will be captured and taken back?

You can be a normal human or a demihuman.
