Four Scenearios!

In 259AC, Aerys and Rhaella wed. The early days of the reign of King Aerys were full of hope and splendour. Feasts, hawks, tourneys. He had ideas of building a new capital, new roads paved with gold, statues of heroic figures and past Targaryen kings. He even put forth a plan to rebuild the Dragonpit. None of these ideas ever passed though, and all the while Rhaella and their son Rhaegar took a back seat. Rhaella had suffered miscarriages, and thus far, as of 275, their only child was Rhaegar. Then, in 276, another son, whom they named Viserys. And then in 277, everything changed. The Defiance of Duskendale shattered the slowly fraying mind of her king-husband, and he descended in madness. Where Rhaella was simply ignored before, she was now suffering abuse. Where she’d found a shoulder to weep on their failed pregnancies, she now found a palm to her cheek. She wept now, when Aerys took her, instead of the joy she used to feel. She could no longer rely on her husband to see her, truly, see her.

Scenario One: A knight crowns Rhaella the Queen of Love and Beauty after winning a tourney. Rhaella is reminded of Ser Bonifer Hasty, who had since turned to the faith. She goes to the armoury after the ceremony to speak with him, hoping for a friend, and a true escape from her increasingly cruel existence.

Scenario Two: Rhaella had been originally sneaking off to the Dragonpit so that she may sit in silence, with only Ser Gerold Hightower to protect her. The White Bull never said anything to her unless spoken to, knowing she wished for silence. But recently, she has been joined by another. A man who claims to be a knight. Rhaella informed Ser Gerold that she trusted the man, and lets him walk with her further into the ruins. But there may be more than friendship happening.

Scenario Three: Rhaella is in her chambers reading when the door opens. A maid, one Rhaella didn’t recognize. The flash of steel catches her eye before she can even scream, but the maid is stopped by a young knight, the newest addition of her husband’s Kingsguard.
