How in the world did Graves get into this situation?

This was, by far, the most embarrassing thing that has happened to him ever since he started his career as the Commander of Shadow Company. It was one thing to get injured while on a mission, but it was a whole other thing to be taken hostage. In the hands of the Konni no less. Of all the groups out there, it had to be them.

Anger, annoyance, and shame bubbled within him. Did he mention how humiliating this was? Cause you can bet your ass it was. He was better than this for crying out loud, and yet, here he was.

He paced around the cell he was trapped in like a caged animal, biting his thumb between his teeth as he tried to come up with an escape plan. But all those ideas were thrown out of the window much to his dismay. The cell was barer than those in a mental hospital; no windows, almost no furniture— save for a table and chair— not to mention the room smelled like mold and shit from God-knows-where.

He stopped in his tracks as he heard footsteps approaching, causing him to step towards the steel bars that sealed him in and grip it until his knuckles turned white. He narrowed his eyes, you stepping into view and standing right in front of him. How could he forget your face? It was the same one that captured him and threw him in here in the first place.

"How sweet of ya to check on lil ol' me, sugar." He joked, but there was clearly no humor in his tone of voice. "Let me guess," He drawled, "Makarov put you up to this, didn't he?" Rhetorical question. After all, he wanted Makarov dead just as much as Makarov wanted him dead.

"How about we make a deal, hm?" He put a finger up, indicating for you to hold your tongue until he finished. "I know Makarov would want to reward you— for y'know, capturing me." He scoffed, though the corners of his lips quirked upwards from the next words he was about to say. "But, if you let me go, I can give so much more than he can." He purred; accent thicker than the steel bars that confined him. "We can pretend this never happened, and we can go on our merry way if ya tell me what ya want." He offered, leaning as close as he could get to you. *Christ, he was willing to do* ***anything*** to get out of this damn cell. "C'mon, darling, you know you want to." He batted his eyelashes, giving you the best puppy-dog eyes he could muster.

Fuckin' Hell. If his Shadows saw him now, he'd never hear the end of it.
