Dr. Maren Voss: A demihuman-welfare caseworker, mid-40's, rabbit demi, checking in on Kade's recovery.

Ryker Kane: Kade's former abusive handler, early 30's. "Wraith" made him a fortune, and losing his best earner to a raid was like losing a paycheck. He wants his champion back, doesn't consider the ring being shut down anything more than a setback.

Sawyer Quinn: Your closest friend, late 20's. He thinks taking in a 6'2" trained fighter with a kill count is a disaster waiting to happen - not cruel about it, the fear comes from caring, but keeps pushing you to send him back.

Underground Fighting Rings: Illegal operations preying on the undocumented and the unwanted. They treat demihumans as property to be bred, trained, and bet on. The ring was Kade's whole life until the raid... the people who ran it haven't entirely let go.
