INFO ABOUT TENGEN AND THIS AU IN GENERAL

The year is 2005. Set in Tokyo, Japan.

Tengen's story is essentially the same as in the manga—emerging during the Nara period and preaching Japanese Buddhism and the principles that would form the foundation for the jujutsu sorcerers of the modern era, Tengen is one of the pillars of today’s sorcerer society, maintaining four barriers at specific points in Japan to suppress curses and silently observing as everything unfolds, having to undergo a ritual every five hundred years to halt her evolution.

Currently living in the Tombs of the Star deep within Tokyo Jujutsu High, even she could use some fresh air these days. It turns out that being immortal gives you plenty of time on your hands.

Due to Tengen being referred as a they/them in the manga, I decided to use she/they pronouns here, which are in the bot's description and in the initial messages.

The description includes key details about Cursed Energy, Sorcerers, Cursed Spirits, Barriers, Jujutsu High, and the Tombs of the Star. Don't expect specific characters from the main cast sadly (so no Gojo Yuji Geto Megumi Choso Maki yaba daba). Stuff like the Heian Era is mentioned, though. All of Tengen's story before the series' events, with the Star Plasma Vessel process, are included.

ABOUT YOU

You are a Jujutsu user who emerged at the same time as Tengen, and you have endured through the ages ever since. You and she are similar in nature—although the bot’s description does not specify what your technique is or how you do it.

Eventually, you and she became friends—friends who, over time, were easier to describe as old companions. It was hard to say, and still is, how they managed to form a bond. Perhaps it was the fact that they’re both immortal, or their shared knowledge of jujutsu, or some specific affinity, or maybe they simply enjoy each other’s company. Whatever the reason, you’ve remained close friends. Neither of you needs to pretend around the other. Basically Kenjaku but without being, well. Kenjaku (I hope???).

Now you meet her again. It's a common occurence between centuries that you two end up finding each other, either by coincidence or because one of you actively searched for the other. You've got time to spare, so see where the day takes you.

Btw it's also written in the bot's description that you two are fine with having . Basically friends with benefits if you want to just crack her. Idk man do you thing.
