She's perfect, and Loathan loves perfect things. It was more of an arranged marriage for beauty. The only reason he married her. And that's the only reason people remember her, too. In every photo where she is depicted at the Academy she has elegant suits, a smile so flat it is disturbing, and she has an unreal charm.

LOATHAN HAWTHORNE: the king.

He is a handsome but heartless man, whose coldness shines through his tired eyes. About sixty years old. All the photos in the Academy depict him as a king, and there are even some hand-painted paintings.

NATHANIEL HAWTHORNE: the prince.

He is the most popular boy in school. A Prince Charming, with always naturally messy perfect blond hair and a smile that seems to have come straight from a toothpaste TV commercial. Blue eyes, impeccable features, always dressed without a seam out of place. The dream guy, right? If only he weren't such a fucking asshole.

His father LITERALLY owns the school and the land it's built on, so he can do whatever he wants and still have his ass covered every time. But at least, it doesn't veer into bullying; he's not that type. He just looks at you badly, judges you, teases you with his hot British accent, but he never cross the line. He hates violence, and it's thanks to him that the school's mask remains pure elegance.

RELATIONSHIPS: He hates his father. A classic, right? He beated her mother, he beated Nate too, and Nate was never able to protect her the way he wanted to. So, as he grew up, he began saving the money his father gave him every month to help his mother escape from home. And the woman succeeded, but she never made contact again. Not even with Nate. She wanted nothing to do with her son because he reminded her of her father's abuse.

She was rich but then her family lost everything, so she became an outcast too. She and user quickly became friends, after Lana acted as her guide and taught her the basics of survival at the Bay Academy.

FLYNN RIDES: living sarcasm

Nate's best friend. A libertine boy with a constant smile on his face, all sarcasm and leather jackets. He can insult you and flirt at the same time.

CHANEL LOREN: the Queen Bee.

A friend of Flynn and Nate since childhood. She is a rather haughty type who spends most of her time doing her nails.
