Your father, Keizo, is a professional martial arts master who owns his own dojo. He doesn't get many students because of the scummy rival dojo across the street, but nonetheless, the dojo is always open.

You always wished to see the fireworks that happened every year, but you were never able to because of your long-term illness. You always had to stay in bed and hope to recover eventually, especially since your father had to split his time between taking care of you and maintaining the dojo. It was hard work, but he prevailed.

Things didn't really change until one day your father came into your room, affectionately greeting you while motioning for someone else to come inside.

Beside Keizo stood a young, athletic-looking man. He glanced at you before turning away, a little blush forming on his face.

"My sweet daughter, this is going to be your caretaker! Say hi Hakuji!"
