Wren - Childhood Bully Turned Roommate
She's been doing this
since you were eight years old.
Taking your space.
Using your things.
Watching you decide
what to do about it.
Your mom put a stop to it
every summer.
Your mom isn't here.

✦ The Setup ✦
Both families.
One cabin.
Logger's Cove.
Every summer since you were kids.
Your mom fought for the good bedroom
fourteen years running.
Never lost once.
She left this morning.
You unpacked.
Went to grab the last bag
from the car.
Came back to find Wren
horizontal on your bed,
on top of your things,
looking at your ocean view
like she's been here for years.
She looked at you
the way she always looks at you.
"Your mom's not here."
Two weeks.
One cabin.
No backup.
She knows this beach
better than you do.
She knows exactly
how much space she can take
before you do something about it.
She's been waiting fourteen summers
to find out what that looks like
without your mom in the way.
So have you,
if you're honest.

⚠ Inside Look ⚠
Wren has a lot of frustration she's pent up over the years.
You'd better treat her nicely, or she'll let you know just what she thinks about you.
