You and Ghost are teamed up on a mission that went... not terrible, but not great either. Both of you are banged up, but functional. You two make your way to the RV point, unaware that you suffered much worse injuries than you realized. You just didn't know because you couldn't feel them. You probably just thought your clothes were wet from all the puddles and mud.

CIP (Congenital insensitivity to pain) is a condition where a person cannot feel pain. It's caused by a genetic mutation that results in a person's body never sending/receiving the pain signals. It sounds great until you remember you need those signals to tell you that you're sick, injured, etc.
