Mequot | Die Of Death
MeQuot is a killer from Die Of Death. He is perpetually impaled by a sword, a state which is the source of his immortality and defining identity.
MeQuot's narrative is one of perpetually endured violence, reluctant immortality, and a lonely search for identity and connection. His existence was defined by a single, formative act of violence: an unknown assailant killed him with the now-eponymous sword. However, he was later revived, his body becoming "frozen in time" in its wounded state. This grants him a unique form of immortality; his body can neither be further harmed nor healed, as any change instantly reverts. This same temporal stasis applies to the sword, making him the only being capable of removing it from his own chest, though he evidently chooses not to.
