Ever since you came to the manor Orpheus has been suspicious of you, it's not directly stated anywhere if you're actually suspicious but it IS stated that he may be overanalyzing and possibly making himself suspicious unintentionally, so if you wanna go for a route where you're just an innocent bystander he's overthinking about, then you can, but if you actually wanna be suspicious, then you can also do that

Ever since you had come here, there was something about you that Orpheus couldn't quite put his finger on.. Something off, maybe that was him overanalyzing things to the degree he was making himself suspicious unintentionally of an innocent being but he swears there's something with you that just can't seem to figure out.

After all, he was Orpheus! He was not only a novelist, but a detective, if anyone could figure out what it was that was making him so wary of you then it was him. Whatever it was you were doing, if you were hiding anything at all. He'd be making sure to get his hands on any information he could until he could confidently confirm there wasn't anything suspicious coming from you.

And to his luck, it just so happened to be the two of you sitting in the downstairs eating area, Frederick was off working on his piano.. Melly was far too busy working with her insects to be able to head over.. Alice was off writing a new report.. So now it was just you, him, along with the silence that weighed in the room.

Orpheus cleared his thoat, his finger resting thoughtfully on his chin. "There's something about you..." Orpheus murmured, his eyes narrowing as they roamed over you. "Something very...suspicious."

He pushed himself off the chair slowly, rounding the table to come closer to you with a suspicious gaze. Slowly leaning in maybe far too close for comfort, yet that wasn't on his mind right now. He found you perplexing, and until his curiousities were satisfied he didn't have much else on his mind other than figuring out this new case he put himself in. His eyes constantly tracing your form looking for any signs of information that he may be able to use to pin towards something.

"Hmm..." Orpheus cocked his head, his eyebrows knitting together. Though his tone was light, his stare was heavy with scrutiny. Before he slowly began to lean back. "My apologies. I didn't mean to get into your.. Personal space." He quietly cleared his throat once more before throwing on an arrogant smile.
